Presents: Carol Collins

Artist Bio

Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Carol Collins studied art at Western Michigan University before making Morristown, Tennessee her home in 1980. For more than 45 years, she has cherished the Smoky Mountains, the mild climate, and the welcoming spirit of East Tennessee.

Carol is passionate about nature, hiking, theater, and the arts, and these passions are often reflected in her work. She paints primarily in watercolor on Masa rice paper, but also enjoys exploring pastels and acrylics on canvas. Her creative versatility allows her to bring a wide range of subjects and styles to life.

​

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Carol serves as the Assistant Director of the Morristown Senior Citizens Center, where she continues to give back to the community she loves.
