FAQ
Who does your organization serve?
Our focus is on serving individuals that have been diagnosed with an advanced-stage cancer diagnosis and are referred by their medical team, however we will do our best to provide assistance in locating available resources for any cancer patient that reaches out.
How do I request support?
Most commonly our referrals come directly from a patients Oncologist, or medical team. Cancer patients can reach out directly, we will just need to verify diagnosis related information.
Is support limited to a specific region?
We serve clients located within the 24 counties of east Tennessee. The counties covered include: Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Carter, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Jefferson, Johnson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, Sullivan, Unicoi, Union, Washington
At this time, Guided Path is temporarily pausing direct services as we evaluate our capacity and prepare for organizational updates. This pause will allow us to ensure that future support remains sustainable, effective, and aligned with the needs of the individuals and families we serve across East Tennessee. This message was posted on 12/12/2025. Please watch our website for updates.
How much financial support can I request?
Financial support will be based on the individual needs of each client enrolled. Our program outreach will be based on funding availability; therefore the number of individuals served will be limited to ensure clients receive the highest quality of care. Additional smaller financial support may be available for those seeking aid.
What documentation will I need?
We will require a statement of diagnosis from your doctor indicating an advanced-stage cancer diagnosis. As you continue through the program we may ask for additional information.
