The Art of Healing
Presents: Lorna Jeanine Paquin
Artist Bio
Lorna was born on a farm in Massachusetts and discovered her passion for art at the age of four. Trained in a wide range of mediums through both formal education and mentorship, she has continually pursued new styles and techniques throughout her life.
In Florida, she owned a shell shop, worked as a civil engineering and architectural draftsman, and studied Masterpiece Re-Creations. After moving to Tennessee in 1993, her art began to reflect the beauty of nature and the richness of local history. A seven-year stay in Las Vegas introduced her to faux finishing, mural work, and a transformative new style known as Fusionart, or energy painting. Lorna later became a Fusionart teacher, sharing her expertise in Nevada, California, and Washington.
Returning to Tennessee in 2009, she exhibited in local galleries, joined several art groups, and taught classes in Greeneville, Morristown, Mooresburg, and Rogersville. Today, she continues to experiment with new styles in her home studio, Studio 4, overlooking the serene waters of Cherokee Lake.
