The Art of Healing
Presents: Lynda Lawson
Artist Bio
Lynda Lawson has always held a deep appreciation for the arts, though she didn’t discover her own talent for painting until 2021. Entirely self-taught, with no formal training, her journey began when she painted a lighthouse on a large flat rock and wondered, “Could I do this on canvas?” She bought her first canvas, entered her first art contest since grade school, and to her delight, won second place.

Since then, painting has become a passion and source of joy. Lynda embraces challenges and finds inspiration in birds, wildlife, and seascapes. For her, painting is both a creative outlet and a way to relax—an expression of beauty and peace that continues to bring fulfillment to her life.
