Artist Bio

Like many children, Monica grew up with a love for creating all kinds of art. Her art journey truly began during the “empty nest” stage of life, when her husband gave her a Bob Ross kit for Christmas. That gift ignited her passion for painting and set her on a creative path.

In 2015, Monica joined the Local Artist Gallery in Rogersville, TN, where she served as secretary, vice president, president, and gallery scheduler for seven years. In 2019, she began leading the Busy Brushes Adult Art Classes, sharing her love for painting with others. In 2020, she joined the Morristown Art Association (MAA) and was elected president in 2024.

Today, Monica’s artwork can be found at J. Tilden’s Gallery in Morristown and The Local Artist Gallery in Rogersville.
