Guided Path
The Art of Healing
Presents: Sita Loop

Artist Bio

Sita has been creative all her life. Her love is painting, and in addition to her fine art, she has done faux finishes, murals, and is known for her photography as well. Creating since she could hold a crayon.

Sita put herself through college and worked 14 years in corporate positions in sales and administration, and also a bartender on the side; but always an artist, selling paintings from her home. She left the corporate world in 1998 to focus on art, working full time in the food and beverage industry. She started teaching art to children and adults, entering art exhibitions, solo shows and in 2003 she made another dream come true, opening her own Gallery in West Virginia. She sold her work along with 21 other artists including jewelry from the Southwest and Native American books, toys and locally made flutes. She also created events to benefit children where her heart lies. Along the way she has cultivated collectors and sold privately in the Southwest, Virginia and throughout the US as well as a few pieces sold abroad.

With gratitude for her years in Arizona and Santa Fe, New Mexico where she had gallery exhibitions, art tent shows and teaching, she and her husband now reside in East Tennessee. Now involved with the local community center, heading up a weekly paint day and having a recent two-month solo show she is part of a grant sign project for Art awareness as well.

Her passion is painting and through her humanitarian concerns she contributes to help organizations promote art and benefit children. She considers herself spiritual and this aspect keeps her humble as she continues to paint and express her love for life through her art.
